The 2018 PA Route 6 Artisan Trail Traveling Exhibit showcases prints and photographs from artists along the historic PA Route 6 highway. Route 6 runs across all of northern Pennsylvania, crossing 11 counties from the Ohio border to the Delaware River in the east.

The PA Route 6 Alliance celebrated its talented artisan members with the launch of the Traveling Exhibit in April which is Artisan Trail Month. The 3-panel display is a selection of artwork from artists and artisans across PA Route 6. The region is represented by a variety of images including landscapes and townscapes, prints of abstract paintings and photographs highlighting the different communities across northern Pennsylvania.

Local artists Jamie Borowicz, Dan and Janice Niebauer, Wendy Neckers, Mark Hulings, Heather Cole, Ray Maholtz, and photographers with the Photographic Arts Society of NWPA are represented in the exhibit.

Beginning in Meadville at Meadville Fine Arts the exhibit travels to the Edinboro Area Historical Society's Doucette House Museum (April 29 - May 16) and Goodell Gardens & Homestead (May 18 - 26) in Edinboro, Raymond M. Blasco, M.D. Memorial Library (May 27 - June 16) in Erie, the Painted Finch (June 16 - 30) in Corry, the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau, Bradford, Potter County Artisan Center, Coudersport, the PA Lumber Museum, Ulysses, the Rt 15 Welcome Center, Tioga, the Deitrich Theater and Framesmith in Tunkhannock, and the Art Factory of White Mills, before ending in Milford.
