Erie Playhouse performers will continue the Playhouse's celebration of 100 years, with a performance at WQLN's 3rd annual Sounds Around Town FREE concert series!

Sensory Friendly Days are an exclusive event for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable and accepting environment!

This will be a great celebration in Liberty Park on July 31. Bring chairs, blankets and a picnic lunch. We'll have great outdoor service from 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. with a sermon and awesome music. The fun will go until 5:30 p.m. with music throughout the day and activities for families to enjoy together. INVITE someone to come with you!

The Young People's Chorus of Erie Choir Camp will focus on developing singers' voices through interactive workshops and expert instruction. This day-camp program includes fun, fast-paced choral rehearsals and age-appropriate music theory classes geared to beginning/intermediate singers and those new to singing in a choir. Music-related guest presentations and afternoon activities led by professional colleagues and friends of YPC Erie will offer education in instrumental music, movement, drama, and the visual arts. An informal performance of the songs we learn together will take place on Friday, August 5 -- families are welcome to attend!

All aboard! Train hats and whistles are sure to make campers giggle. We will build train track, and craft our own trains. We will also use trains to help us learn about magnetism, electricity and sound as we conduct simple experiments, connect circuits and learn how trains talk with their whistles.

Stop down to the Museum’s 5th Street patio for Mid-Day Art Break from 12 to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays all summer long. Pick up lunch at the Wave Caféand check out the live music series featuring the most talented local musicians in the area! Free gallery tours are offered at 12:30 and 1 p.m.
