Each summer the Fairview Area Historical Society presents a new exhibit at the Sturgeon House that continues until Labor Day with special open hours throughout June, July and August. The exhibit opens on Memorial Day and a reenactors group, the French Creek Living History Association, has traditionally exhibited their story through artifacts, etc., on the side lawn of the Sturgeon House during that weekend. The organization oversees the activities at the Cemetery Chapel and always has it open for view following the parade on Memorial Day. Admission to exhibits is free and the public is invited to attend.
