About Barber National institutes Art Show Call of Entries

Artwork can be dropped off at north lobby of the Barber National Institute on Thursday and Friday, March 8 and 9, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Forms of artwork accepted include paintings, drawings, sculpture and photography. Each artist can submit up to two pieces of work, although only one may be selected for the show depending on space limitations. Adult artists will be charged a $15 non-refundable submission fee per piece; youth artists, which include children up to age 18 or high school students, may submit their work for free. A panel of judges from the community will select artwork for monetary awards that will be awarded in adult and youth artist categories, with separate awards for photography. More information and entry forms are available in the Call for Entries posted at or by calling the Barber National Institute at 814-874-5603. This year’s show will be held April 13 – 16 at the Barber National Institute.
