About Gallery Night

 The Museum opens two new exhibits; the 95th Annual Spring Show, a juried exhibition of works from the region and Vintage Neon, photographs of mid-century signage by Pittsburgh artist and photographer Chuck Biddle. Also on view is Faces and Places, a survey of six decades of paintings by retired Edinboro professor James McMurray, Divine Instinct, Gary Spinosa’s sculptures inspired by ancient art and iconography. Gallery talk by Chuck Biddle at 7:15. Dianne Borsenik, Kim Noyes, Barbara Crone, Chuck Joy and Cee Williams recite original poems responding to works in the Spring Show at 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Come explore the city’s galleries at one of Erie’s most unique Friday-night events! The Erie Art Museum, along with other independent galleries, will open their doors after-hours for a chance to explore the city’s vibrant arts scene. Each gallery offers its own exhibitions, entertainment, refreshments, and vibes. FREE, open to the public!
