A Little About Anne Schmitt
Annie Schmitt offers STEAM and environmental arts residencies for students ages 7 and up. She loves connecting students to their own creativity through hands-on projects utilizing animation, film, coding, and making and tinkering. Coming from and environmental education and gardening background, she often weaves themes of culture, environment, and place into her work with students. A teaching artist since 2013, she has worked with schools and organizations throughout Erie County as well as Crawford, Venango, and Forest Counties. Annie also co-teaches residencies in STEAM with artist Jude Shingle through their business, Awesome Dinosaur.
