Support Arts Education // Erie Arts & Culture

MacKenzie's Story

Click on the video to discover how MacKenzie, and 30 other students from the Elizabeth Lee Black School, made iBooks as part of a Long Term Residency with artist Jude Shingle.

All students deserve access to a quality arts education. Students, parents, educators, artists, legislators, school boards, business leaders, PTA/PTO & community members can support arts education. Use your voice to tell school and community leaders that the arts matter to you!

Here are a few tools to get you started:

Three great ways to give:

  • Contribute your business’s Educational Improvement Tax Credits to support Erie Arts & Culture Arts in Education program. Erie Arts & Culture is an approved Educational Improvement Organization and EITC dollars support teaching artist residencies in schools.
  • Make a planned gift to the Virginia Vieser Fund of the Erie Arts Endowment to support arts education programming for generations to come.

Erie Arts & Culture makes it easy to provide financial support to arts education in your community. For more information on ways to give, please contact Amanda Hurd, Marketing and Development Director, by email at or by phone at 814-452-3427.
