Partners in the Arts - Erie Arts & Culture

Erie Arts & Culture is proud to work with Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). PPA Grants provide funding for the arts through the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Erie Arts & Culture is one of thirteen agencies across the state that administer PPA funds to individual artists, community groups and organizations. We oversee the re-granting of funds to eligible applicants from the following counties:

  • Crawford
  • Erie
  • Mercer
  • Venango
  • Warren


PPA Project Stream Grants

Next Deadline: June 20, 2017

The PPA Project Stream grants provide up to $2,500 to eligible individuals, community groups and nonprofit organizations to conduct arts projects which have a significant public component. 

Join us for a grantwriting workshop, and learn more about the program guidelines and application process. Reservations not required.

  • Friday, May 26th at 10 am at Struthers Library Theatre, 302 W. 3rd Avenue, Warren
  • Wednesday, May 31st at 6:30 pm with Random Acts of Artist, Apallo Maennechor Club, 391 S. Dock Street, Sharon
  • Thursday, June 1st at 10 am with the Oil Region Alliance, Great Room, National Transit Building, Oil City
  • Friday, June 2nd at 10 am at Erie Arts & Culture, 23 W. 10th Street, Erie

As stated in the Additional Terms & Conditions Governing Grants-In-Aid, all grantees must acknowledge the PCA's support in a prominent manner in all materials and announcements and display the PCA's logo in association with the acknowledgment. PPA Program Stream Grants

Next Deadline: January/February 2018

PPA Program Stream Grants offer ongoing support to arts organizations and arts programs with annual budgets less than $200,000 and an established history of PCA support. Applicants must be invited to apply to this stream of funding.

Eligible applicants are permitted to submit one Program Stream Grant application per year, and may not apply for PPA Project Stream funding or the PCA’s Arts Organizations and Arts Programs (AOAP) Track, or Entry Track for the same grant period.
