Erie Arts & Culture is excited to launch the Creative Catalyst Speaker Series, which builds off of last year's Placemaking Speaker Series. We welcome our first speaker, Hope McMath, to Erie. The intent of this series is to build the capacity of our region by sharing methodology on how creative practices can be aligned with social issues. Funding for the series was provided by Erie Insurance and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development through the Neighborhood Assistance Program.

Hope is the founder of the Yellow House, a place where art + action creates change. The space serves as a catalyst for personal and collective growth by displaying thought-provoking exhibitions, hosting public events, and promoting community dialogue. Prior to founding Yellow House, Hope was the Executive Director of the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Hope also serves on the Board of the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs.

Doors open at 6:00 PM
