Erie Arts & Culture is partnering with the Crime Victim Center to host a Mandated Reporter Training Workshop specific to the cultural sector.
Understanding what abuse is and what you can do about it is key to stopping it from happening. Mandated Reporters are individuals who are required to report suspicions of child abuse. The training covers the history of reporting, defines mandated reporters and child abuse, identifies possible signs and symptoms of abuse, and covers reporting requirements. It is a state approved training, and fulfills the child abuse recognition and reporting requirements for both Act 31 and Act 126.
