New Horizons' Initiative Community Organizer Joins Erie Arts & Culture Staff

Erie Arts & Culture is pleased to welcome Tiffanie Page-Collazo as the Community Organizer for the New Horizons’ Initiative; an initiative funded through The Erie Community Foundation’s Shaping Tomorrow grant. She started with EAC in February of 2019. 

Erie Arts & Culture is pleased to welcome Tiffanie Page-Collazo as the Community Organizer for the New Horizons’ Initiative; an initiative funded through The Erie Community Foundation’s Shaping Tomorrow grant. She started with EAC in February of 2019. Tiffanie will oversee the New Horizons Initiative and will coordinate efforts amongst a diverse group of community partners in order to mobilize creative and cultural assets with the intent of solidifying strong emotional bonds between people and place. The plan calls to:

  • Infuse arts and culture into libraries, public parks, and other community resources to provide neighborhood programming that ensures the benefits of arts and culture are more fully recognized, utilized, and valued.
  • Make access to information about arts and culture experiences, programs, and events easy and available to everyone.  • Integrate public art into community and neighborhood development and revitalization plans. 
  • Utilize cultural events as a platform to distribute services and information that are relevant to the cultural, economic, wellness, educational, and environmental needs of communities.
  • Record, preserve, and share the culture and history of Erie, both past and present.

Several New Horizons projects have already begun and look to educate and exhort the community regarding Creative Placemaking. 

Tiffanie Page-Collazo is a strategic developer with a successful 20 year track record as a nonprofit leader and innovator. Throughout her career she has been responsible for providing leadership in several areas including: media relations, grant management, the cultivation of relationships to develop civic-minded partnerships and initiatives, board relations, and team building. Through these experiences her desire increased to assist people with achieving their own personal goals and dreams.

Currently, Tiffanie is the Chief Virtual Strategist of Diverse Collaborations & Consulting, an agency that focuses on adding value to clients by providing them with virtual administrative support. She is also an Independent Certified speaker, trainer, and life coach specializing in personal growth and development. 

Prior to launching her business, Tiffanie was the Director of Strategic Development & Grants at The Erie City Mission. She also served in leadership capacity at The Erie Community Foundation as the Director of Community Impact. 

Tiffanie has contributed to a number of diverse industry publications / charities / events / organizations, including Times News, The Jefferson Society, The Erie City Mission’s Mission Possible $3.7 Million Capital Campaign, St. Martin’s Center- Erie’s Best Coffee Event, HerPOWER- 200 Women United Event, and Athena Erie. 

Tiffanie is a graduate of the Erie Civic Leadership Academy and Project Blueprint. She has also been honored with the Women Making History Award given by the Mercy Center for Women for her contributions to the Erie Community. 

Tiffanie states that she is just a gal with a heart for the city of Erie. Her passions are developing people, places and things.
