As counties in Pennsylvania transition to "green" in June, many creative and cultural organizations are both eager and apprehensive to reopen. During these unprecedented times, Erie Arts & Culture understands those feelings. One way we aim to assist is by providing resources and educational support for our creative and cultural organizations, both large and small.

On June 1, 2020, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts published "Reopening Safely: Tips and Resources to Prepare," a document that outlines best practices for reopening. Though some counties in PA remain in the yellow phase, this resource aims to help you strategically plan ahead for reopening.

This resource is designed to provide an evolving list of tips and resources for use by arts and cultural organizations as they navigate the process of reopening to the public in accordance with the guidelines of state and federal government. It is a tool designed to help strategically plan for reopening and move forward when it is appropriate to do so. Organizations should consider the financial impacts that may accompany the reopening process, including decreased capacity, social distancing measures, and increased costs for supplies.

Information is rapidly evolving and can change daily. Please check back regularly to ensure access to the most up-to-date information.
