The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has resulted in an unprecedented disruption of all levels of economic activity. The federal CARES Act has sought to blunt the adverse impact of this in a variety of ways, including funding unemployment-type benefits for many self-employed individuals who would not typically be eligible for this type of support. This quick program will attempt to provide you with information about these benefits and answer key questions regarding eligibility and the claims process.

About Arthur Martinucci, Esq.

Arthur Martinucci is a Shareholder at the Quinn Law Firm. His practice—now in its 29th year—is heavily focused on litigation, with an emphasis on employment and civil rights matters. He handles cases at all levels of the Pennsylvania and federal court systems, as well as before agencies such as the EEOC, the NLRB, OSHA, the Pa. Human Relations Commission, the Pa. Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, and the Erie County Human Relations Commission. He received his education at Allegheny College (BA in history and English, 1988) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (JD, 1991). A native and ardent supporter of Erie, Art has served on several nonprofit boards and has provided legal advice and assistance to many others. He considers himself to be an appreciator of the Arts, with his own extremely modest contributions being limited to a spot in the chorus for the Erie Playhouse’s 1984 production of “Fiddler on the Roof” and occasionally belting out traditional Irish tunes, usually toward the end of a night out.

For the duration of the Stay-at-Home order, Art may be reached at [email protected] or by calling (814) 833-2222, ext. 1036. Zoom meetings are also available. When permitted, he looks forward to again seeing clients at the offices of the Quinn Law Firm, 2222 West Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16506.

The Quinn Law Firm has been a fixture in the legal community of Northwest Pennsylvania for more than 100 years.
