History/Biography

English Bio:

I was born in Acámbaro Gto. Mexico (1983) In 1986 my parents decided to bring my 2 sisters and me to the US thanks to IRCA 1986 signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986 !! In 1998, after so much time and money, my number and my immigration office had finally arrived and that was when I became a permanent resident of the United States. Two years later Bill Clinton signed The Child Citizenship Act of 2000. 2001 I officially became a US Citizen. The whole process only took 15 years. I grew up in La Villita and Brighton Park in Chicago, IL where Mexican culture is outstanding. My photos reflect the pride I have towards my homeland, you praise my obstacles as an immigrant woman living in a state that defines the political landscape.

Nací en Acámbaro Gto. México (1983) En 1986 mis padres decidieron traer a mis 2 hermanas y a mi a EEUU gracias a IRCA 1986 firmada por el presidente Ronald Reagan el 6 de Noviembre 1986!! En 1998 después de tanto tiempo y dinero por fin avía llegado mi numero y mi sita con inmigración y fue cuando me hice residente permanente de EEUU. Dos años después Bill Clinton firmó The Child Citizenship Act of 2000. 2001 oficialmente me hice Ciudadana De los EEUU. Todo el proceso solo tomo 15años. Me crie en La Villita y Brighton Park en Chicago, IL donde la cultura Mexicana es sobresaliente. Mis fotos reflejan el orgullo que tengo hacia mi patria álabes mis obstáculos como mujer inmigrante viviendo en un estado que define el panorama político.
