The performers of One World Tribe are professional educators and master musicians, and all are very experienced players who have long performance histories. The group has had many opportunities to take this expertise into school systems,colleges and universities, and community service centers. These services continue to be offered in a variety of combinations
The mission of One World Tribe is to fill the hearts and minds of students of all ages with an appreciation of the powerful ethnic and cultural music from a multitude of countries and to tear down negative ethnic barriers. Thirteen years of teaching and touring provides us with the opportunity to do just that. Showcasing members from such locations as Senegal, Jamaica, Kenya, Puerto Rico and the United States, One World Tribe is a true multi-cultural ensemble.
