Charter Day
In 1681, King Charles II granted a charter to William Penn forming what is now known as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Join the Erie Maritime Museum and U.S. Brig Niagara in celebrating the Commonwealth’s 338th birthday. Tour the Commonwealth’s Flagship, explore the museum’s exhibits, and visit the Hirt Auditorium at 2:00 p.m. for a very special Charter Day concert! Folklorist Kelly Armor for “Silkies, Sailors, and Lady Pirates”, a concert of songs about women on the water.
Museum is FREE and Open to the Public.
