Infrasonic Series presents The Evolution of the Arm - Grounded Printshop
The program features The Evolution of the Arm, a Buffalo-based chamber quartet who has gained a reputation for their ability to combine the subtle precision of notated concert music with the wild spontaneity of free improvisation. The quartet will be touring the Northeastern US to promote their upcoming release, Telepathic Music Vol. 2, its second EP of music recorded on the astral plane, with the musicians unable to physically hear one another.
The program will also feature a duo performance by electronic musician Ethan Hayden & realtime media performing artist Benton C Bainbridge. The evening will begin with the debut performance of GNG, which features members of Erie hip hop crew, Crew Life (K Sanz & elias, if only) alongside cellist Casey Corritore & percussionist Anthony Carson.
