SASH MAKING WORKSHOP
The 100 year anniversary of the Women's Suffrage movement is upon us. Celebrate the woman's right to vote! With all of the many associated social and ceremonial festivities surrounding this momentous occasion, it begs the question of what do I have to wear?
The suffragette sash of course! This ubiquitous symbol of feminine power is once again in vogue. Make Women's history with us! Instructor Deborah Sementelli will show you everything you need to know. No sewing skills necessary. All materials and a cup of refreshing LiberTEA will be provided.
The Sash Making Workshop takes place on Saturday, June 1st from 11 AM until 12:30 PM in the newly restored historic Wood-Morrison House located on the campus of the Thomas B. Hagen History Center All materials are provided, students should bring a pair of scissors.
