Opening Reception: “Pandemic Paintings: In Praise of Home” by Dr. Geoffrey Dunn - Glass Growers Gallery
Glass Growers Gallery’s upcoming exhibit features the work of Dr. Geoffrey Dunn and is titled “Pandemic Paintings: In Praise of Home.”
After living in New York City in late 2019 and having a sense that something dreadful was coming, Dunn returned home to Erie, where he grappled with the fallout of the global pandemic in 2020. “Under the circumstances, I instinctively turned to the greatest healer of all — nature. This exhibit presents a series of plein air meditations through which my sense of hope for all of us and a more profound love of my home were realized.”
The opening reception will be held on Friday, July 29 from 7-10 pm at 10 E. 5th St. and the show will be on display until September 5.
There is no cost to attend the reception and refreshments will be provided.
