PASNWPA Full Day Seminar“Making Outstanding Photographs with your Smart Phone” The Photographic Arts Society of NWPA is hosting a full-day Smart Phone Artistry Workshop “Making Outstanding Photographs with your Smart Phone” with Dan Burkholder, iPhone Photographer September 21, 2019 9:30 am – 3:30 pm Gannon University, Zurn Hall Room 101 143 W. 7th Street, Erie PA Lunch is included in the admission fee Cost: $59 for adults, $10 for students with Student ID (Must be 16 years of age or older) Today smart phones are everywhere, and just about anyone can take a photograph with their smart phone. But how do you make your photos stand out from all the others? The Photographic Arts Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania (PASNWPA) is presenting a full-day workshop with internationally known iPhone Photographer, Dan Burkholder. Once dismissed as a toy for lazy photographers, the smart phone is the new, hip and creative camera whose images grace magazine covers, museum walls and gallery openings. In this workshop we focus on the fine smart phone photograph, exploring the shooting, editing and stylizing techniques that will take you from casual captures to serious artwork. This workshop will open your eyes and pump your creative juices to craft images that you’ll be proud to share, exhibit and sell. This full-day seminar will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm in Room 101 of Zurn Hall at Gannon University on W. 7th St in Erie, PA. Lunch is included in the price of admission ($59 for adults and $10 for students with Student ID), but seminar seating is limited. Concepts and editing techniques presented in the workshop will apply to both Android and iOS phones however, some phone apps being discussed and demonstrated are available only for iPhones and iPads.
