Gem City Bands, located in Erie, Pennsylvania is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community band, consisting of 65+ dedicated amateur and semi-pro musicians who share the love of music.
Membership in this all-volunteer group is open to experienced musicians in the Erie and surrounding areas. The bands rehearse weekly and perform for a variety of audiences throughout the community. The programming offers a repertoire that appeals to most any musical taste, including jazz and big band charts, symphonic overtures, Broadway and show tunes, traditional concert band literature, movie themes, folk tunes, and many marches.
