Santa Lucia Festival of Light
SVEA Lodge #296 and Luther Memorial Church cordially invite you to our annual Santa Lucia Festival of Light. According to Scandinavian legend, Lucia was a medieval saint who carried food and drink to hungry folk in the province of Varmland during a period of famine. Many legends exist, but in each one Lucia stands for the symbol of light and hope to all mankind. Following the program we invite you to enjoy coffee and Swedish refreshments. Our program is free and open to the public.
