Artist Biography

I am a multimedia artist working across painting, 3D sculpting/modeling, textiles and music. My work acts as diary entries, encapsulating my experiences and feelings into something I couldn't express with words. The focus of my work is around translation: taking ideas from sound into image, object into atmosphere, and the slime in my brain into physical form. I am drawn to exploring contrasts, organic and synthetic, playful and unsettling, tangible and immaterial. Currently I am based in Erie, PA.

Artist Statement, Mural Making Process, and Art Style(s)

More recently my painting process has been, starting with an idea in my head and drawing it out, then sculpting and modeling in a 3d program. The render from the 3d program becomes my reference for the painting. I will map the painting out via grid and build up my colors and values from there.
