Artist Biography

Anthony is a creative mystic born into the world through an American military family. Hes traveled all over the USA making art and music, weaving relationships, and learning about the many ways there are to exist on this pale blue dot. Anthony has made murals, website designs, educational trading cards, album covers, event flyers, an art therapy book, t-shirts, and is currently a teacher at the Neighborhood Art House. He heralds the import of the process of creativity and how spirituality, science, somatic movement, and mysticism are imperative to good art and to the evolution of life on earth.

Artist Statement, Mural Making Process, and Art Style(s)

My work is based in the earnest exploration of the intricacies of humanity through the lens of my own personal symbolism and various mediums. I embrace paradox like a paper boy to the acknowledgement of the many perspectives through which all beings experience life, the ineffable qualities of existence, and the practice of taking inspired and vulnerable action for the sake of a desired yet uncontrollable result. Through my work, onlookers are invited to explore new or familiar pathways in themselves, to be re-presenced to the warmth of love and innocence, to be encouraged to nurture their relationship with joy and nature, or to dance and be smothered in the sheer groundlessness and mystery of existing. May we all discern when it is right to act, when to embrace a deeper sense of peace and belonging, and when to pause and have a good ol’ fashioned laugh.
