Artist Biography

Drew works in many different mediums and always exploring the creative process. Graduating from West Liberty University, he has a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science, eventually obtaining a job in the Graphic Design field. Being an avid acrylic painter and muralist, he uses unorthodox ways of painting along with using his surrealistic vision of the worlds societal and political subjects to create a sense of connection within the viewer. Artwork and design is something he takes seriously; always expanding his subjects, ideals, and techniques.

In the summer of 2018, Drew traveled to Katowice, Poland to study the process of aquatinting and print making under the guidance of professors. Being from a Polish/Bulgarian/Irish decent himself, he began to study the works of other famous Polish artists. Many established artists influence Drews work; this includes the works of Zdzisław Beksiński, H.R. Giger, Salvador Dali, Alex Grey and many other painters. Travel and nature has also been a heavy influence on his work; pulling from his surroundings and experiences.

Now that Drew has his own studio along the hillsides of West Virginia, he is focusing his work on expanding this platform (Third Sun Graphix) to grow his business ventures and his personal art journey.
