Following a screening of The Carters 7-minute 2018 music video filmed at the Louvre, join three Edinboro faculty - professor of political science, Dr. Rhonda Matthews, professor of art history, Dr. Charlotte H. Wellman and professor of studio art and gallery director, Lisa Austin in conversation with Dr. Ginger Jacobson, associate director of behavioral research at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. The topic of discussion will be the intersections of so-called “high art” with recent works of Beyonce’ and consideration of the ways in which her work, as art, challenges existing definitions of power and its structures.
