Under the Great Ice Sheet - Dafmark Dance Theater
This new production is using the voice of Burmese poet Maung Yu Py as a departing point to throw a light on threats we are facing as a planet if we don't act. Scott Heinrich, our guest performer from Oscoda, Michigan will be back in Erie for this event. In addition to Dafmark dancers, Kelly Armor and Vince Brocki will offer original compositions and performances of their work. Marsha Cisek will weave her magic onstage, and Kara Gladney will be featured as an actress and a dancer. Multi media elements are planned as well. A show not to be missed showcasing the unique and extraordinary choreographic vision of Dafna Rathouse Baier, our artistic director and choreographer-in-residence.
