Artist’s Reception + Gallery Night: “Wonders” by Susan Stone - Glass Growers Gallery
Come experience Glass Growers Gallery’s beautiful new exhibit “Wonders” featuring the work of Susan Stone on gallery night, Saturday, September 17, from 5-8 pm. There is no cost to attend and refreshments will be provided.
This sparkling collection of mixed media work features felted images incorporating unexpected sculptural elements including raw wool, beads, threads, fabrics, and found objects alongside paintings paying tribute to the natural world made with torn paper and acrylic paper on canvas. In her artistic process, Susan finds connectedness, awareness, centering, and solace while living her artistic philosophy: “Art is meant to wake you up, feed your soul, and calm you down.”
This exhibit will be on display until October 10, 2022 and can be viewed online under the “Current Exhibits” tab.
