Six-Week Ceramics on the Wheel
This class offers a fun and relaxed environment for beginners and those with some wheel-throwing experience.

Instructor: Mel El-Farouki
Classes include demos, group exercises, and one-on-one guidance. Students will learn a variety of techniques as they create cups, bowls, plates, vases, jars and other vessels. Participants will learn unique ways to decorate their pottery and are given creative freedom to develop their own personal aesthetic! Ages 14 to adult.
Class meets Wedensdays from 10 – 12:30pm for 6 Weeks:
Session 1 - October 30
Session 2 - November 6
Session 3 - November 13
Session 4 - November 20
Session 5 - November 27
Session 6 - December 4
Class fee includes 25 pounds of stoneware clay, firing and glazes. Additional clay is available for purchase.
Open Studio
In addition to class time, students will have access to the studio from 12pm til 2pm each Saturday while class is in session. This open studio time is supervised but instruction is offered only during class time.
Note
There is a 3 student minimum for this class. If fewer than 3 students register, the class will be canceled. So please sign up with your friends!
