Infrasonic Series: Three Shamans, The Watan Band, and f-f-f-f-Faulty Tower
Infrasonic Press presents their second concert of experimental Rust Belt music on Saturday, November 26, at Grounded Printshop.
The program features Three Shamans, the current project of drummer Phil Haynes, bassist Ken Filiano, and multi-instrumentalist Herb Robertson. The trio recently released "Killing Me Softly", a record which Filiano describes as "[Catching] us somewhere between a meditative, interactive state and contained abandon."
Three Shamans will be performing alongside two local acts: The Watan Band (Mustafa Albalkhi & Bilal Al-Dahni), who specialize in traditional Syrian music for oud and percussion; and trombone/drum set duo f-f-f-f-Faulty Tower (Ethan Hayden & Brendan Fitzgerald).
