Christmas Open House
The Fairview Area Historical Society will celebrate the season with a Christmas Open House at the historic Sturgeon House, 4302 Avonia Road (Rte 98) in Fairview on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, December 8 from Noon to 4 p.m. Visitors will be treated to warm wassail and cookies; the Misery Bay Dulcimers will be playing on occasion each day; the fireplace will be aglow; and items for sale include a bake sale, Chinese Auction and quilt tickets. The House will be decorated in a "Baby-Boomer" style! Pre-ordered wreaths will be available for pick-up. Plan to start the season with this annual event.
